An Evening Before The Storm
An evening on the water before the hurricane. The small and medium size smallies were on fire. A 4" watermelon green tube worm with a red hook was the lure for the evening. A couple on the Oliver darter minnow tied with rabbit zonker strip and coyote fur with a little red crystal flash.

The Little Rivers of Vermont
Remember to check out the Little Rivers & Brooks in Vermont. We had another wonderful evening catching Browns, Rainbows and Smallies. A size 12 & 14 Muddler Minnow on the surface and subsurface at the end of faster rapids. A small Rapala jointed minnow gold and black and a gold and brown spinner were also successful lures of choice. The water was crystal clear and fabulous to canoe. Just because a river is small doesn't mean you can't canoe or kayak it.

Vermont Adventurers - Another Late Evening Float On A Vermont Reservoir
Vermont Adventurers went on another late evening canoe float on a Vermont Reservoir. We caught some Smallies on a Hula Popper. We headed Northeast when we hit the water and proceeded to find a nice cove with a lot vegetation. The Samllies were hanging out there waiting for some tasty Poppers to float by. Here are a couple pictures. Another beautiful night on the water.

Another Evening On The Water in Waterbury
We had another eventful evening on the water in Waterbury Wednesday Night. The Smallies were out in full force and looking for top water...The Hula Popper and the Wine Cork Popper were the lure and fly of choice for the evening. We waited out the thunder, lightning and rain. Then we began our assault on the water around 7pm. There was dense fog on the water. The wind had calmed and the surface was glass. Sometimes good thing come to those who wait. Currently Bass fishing late in the evening has been perfect conditions with a good amount fish willing to play.

Sunday Morning July 3rd on Silver Lake Barnard, VT
Went out on Sunday Morning looking for Big Pike With no results of Pike. I did end up catching very big Largemouth Bass. I was in a Dagger kayak and could not get any pictures. Still had fun without the Pike. A white with gold flake custom made Chatter bait was the ticket.

Big Hosmer Lake Craftsbury, VT
We were out late last night until 11pm and caught a variety of fish from Sun fish to Pickerel. A Yellow Popper on the Fly Rod caught the first Bass of the night then we proceeded to catch more and more fish as the night went on. What an enjoyable lake...Very peaceful and secluded. The Water temperature was warm. It seemed to be a great place to go swimming as well with how clean & clear the water was. All in all we will deffinitly be going back to the Big Hosmer Lake Craftsbury, VT.

Went on a nice little float down the Winooski River Middlesex Dam to Waterbury, VT
We went on a nice little float down the Winooski River from the Middlesex Dam, VT to the town of Waterbury, VT yesterday evening. The water was murky from a late afternoon storm that brought hale and a lot of rain. So instead of fishing we had fun canoeing. This trip is a short fun and beautiful one. I recommend it to anyone from adventurers to anglers.
